Introduction

Péter Zalán Romanek is the coordinator of the Estonian Sign Language Research Lab as a Visiting Research Fellow. His work focuses on sign language grammar, language documentation and sign language interpreting, relying on his working experience with Deaf communities in Hungary, Austria. Currently, he is working on a PhD dissertation project about the methodological approaches in the developing of reference grammar for sign languages at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin.
