Cancellation, transfer and refunds

Candidates may transfer the date of their IELTS test provided that at least 2 weeks' notice is given. There is no charge for transferring the test date. You are allowed to transfer the date of the examination only once. After one transfer, candidates will be obliged to take the test or cancel it subject to the rules of cancellation.

Candidates may cancel their registration for the IELTS test provided at least 2 weeks' notice is given. Cancellation fee is 50 EUR. If candidates cancel their registration less than 2 weeks' before the test, they will not be entitled to a refund. Neither will candidates be eligible for a refund if they do not attend on the day of the test or are deemed absent, unless medical evidence is provided to support the absence.

Getting refunds and transferring the exam date for other reasons will be at the discretion of the IELTS Administrator.
