Krista Karro from the School of Humanities will defend the doctoral thesis

On February 8, 2023 at 11.00 Krista Karro from the School of Humanities will defend the doctoral thesis  "Past is not a foreign country. Long-term history of an eastern Estonian landscape between the viking age and the early modern period (800-1629)".

Public defence will take place in Tallinn University hall M648.

The wider audience can follow the defence and ask questions from the degree applicant in Zoom.

Supervisors are Professor Hannes Palang from Tallinn University and Associate Professor Marika Mägi from Tallinn University.

Opponents are Professor Theo Spek from Groningen University and Professor Georg Haggren from Turku University.
