Introduction
Tiiu Tammemäe has worked as a teacher of special education and speech therapist for over 30 years in general and special education institutions. In 2009 she defended his PhD at Tallinn University and in the same year she started working at the university as a lecturer in special education. The topic of the doctoral thesis was the development of infants' speech and its connection with the conditions of the growth environment. Today, she is particularly interested in topics related to the implementation of inclusive education and networking. She like students who dare to ask questions and express their opinions; who approach topics according to their area of interest. He considers the ability to plan and value both his own and the teacher's time to be very important.
Main tasks
Teaching in bachelor's and master's degree programs, research, in-service training, supervision of bachelor's and master's theses, participation in research and development projects related to the field of special education; head of the special education master's degree program.

Inclusive education; special education; differentiation of learning; use of robotic devices, networking in support of the development of children with special needs.
