Russian Language Intensive Course (10 ECTS)

This is a four week course, incl. 10 lessons each week. One lesson lasts two academic hours, that is 90 minutes and we offer 2 lessons every day in the morning (in AM).
The course starts on August 25, 2025 and ends on September 19, 2025; following with the exam next week. Please note that the organizer may change the dates with prior notice.
The weekly schedule of the course is as follows (as an example of this semester's schedule):
Monday: Conversation Practice + one week Structures and Translation/ the next week Listening to Russian Culture
Tuesday: Conversation Practice + Conversation Practice
Wednesday: Reading Russian Culture + Listening to Russian Culture
Thursday: Conversation Practice + Structures and Translation
Reading, Listening and Structure classes are also taught according to the communicative approach, topics of these classes are connected with the ones of Conversational Practice.
Lessons occur at 10:15-11:45 and 12:15-13:45.
The conversation club takes place once a week at 17:00, and the day of the week is agreed upon with the students at the beginning of the semester.
The student is expected to have a level of proficiency in Russian “A2”.
The lecturers are expert teachers, whose native language is Russian.
If the student is participating in the course under an inter-university cooperation agreement, the following information must be sent by email to exchange@tlu.ee by 15 May 2025 for course registration: full name, date of birth, email address, semester of exchange, and field and level of studies. After that, each student will be required to complete an enrolment form on the SoleMove platform (details can be found here).

The cost of this course is 1500 euros per person. The price of the course is negotiable, if there is an agreement on cooperation between the sending university and Tallinn University, and if there will be a quorum of students to participate.
