Vaccination against COVID-19 and influenza at Tallinn University on 15 October
On 15 October, Health Day “Together and Healthy” takes place at Tallinn University, and then the researchers' forum of the university's Astra building will become a large health area. Among other activities, those interested can get vaccinated against COVID-19 and influenza from 11 am to 2 pm.
Vaccination against COVID-19 takes place without prior registration. All you have to do is come and bring your identity document with you. The vaccine is provided by the healthcare provider Eldred OÜ and a Pfizer vaccine is in use. Vaccination is free for everyone.
To receive the influenza vaccination, however, one must first register HERE. There is also a charge for the flu vaccine, which costs 19 euros. Vaccination is carried out by HeBa, a healthcare partner of Tallinn University, and trivalent influenza vaccines Fluarix and Vaxigrip are being used.
In addition to vaccination, those interested can have a COVID-19 antibody test on Health Day. To do this, blood is taken from a vein and the results of the tests arrive from Synlab the next day. An antibody test costs 25 euros.
In addition to vaccination and antibody testing, Tallinn University Health Day offers other exciting things: open discussions on various health-related topics, participation in a Nordic walking workshop, checking your birthmarks by dermal test or donating blood.
