School for Ukraine's refugee children opens at Räägu

Tallinn University and Tallinn Education Department have signed an agreement that the university will provide rooms at TLU's Räägu building to host a school for the children of the war refugees from Ukraine. The school activities for these children began at Räägu Str 49 on Monday, 11 April.

Thus far, the Räägu building played host to the School of Natural Sciences and Health, and to the activities of a number of the university’s cultural collectives. The school will have space for 200 children who’ve been forced to flee Russia’s war in Ukraine. The students are also assisted by teachers from Ukraine.
