HSK and HSKK exams
HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi, 汉语水平考试) is an internationally standardised Chinese language proficiency test designed for non-native speakers. It assesses the ability to use Chinese in everyday life, academic studies and professional settings.
Taking the HSK exam allows learners to assess their language skills and demonstrate their proficiency when applying for study programmes or employment. HSK results are also used for admission to Chinese universities and scholarship applications.
The exam is available at different levels, allowing learners to choose the level that best matches their proficiency and goals. Preparing for the exam helps consolidate existing knowledge and set clear objectives for further language learning.
