The Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R)
The Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) is a European Commission initiative designed to enhance the excellence of research careers by improving working conditions for researchers across Europe. Institutions that adopt this strategy show their commitment to research community and research excellence by aligning their policies with the principles set out in the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
Tallinn University is glad to announce that it has commenced the implementation of the HRS4R (Human Resources Strategy for Researchers) initiative at the beginning of 2025. The university is currently in the initial phase of the process, which involves conducting a gap analysis, completing the OTM-R (Open, Transparent and Merit-Based Recruitment) checklist, and designing the initial action plan.
The process is coordinated by the Tallinn University’s Research Administration Office and the HR Department.
