The RODEO (RespOnsible Digitalisation in EstOnia) project is led by Tallinn University working closely with our partner, the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow (Scotland, United Kingdom). RODEO is a grantee of the REINFORCING Project funded by the European Commission which focuses on Open Responsible Research and Innovation (ORRI) (https://reinforcing.eu/).

RODEO aims to support Social Science, Humanities and Arts (SSHA) researchers in ORRI at Tallinn University, helping to co-create pathways for publishing research data using Open Science principles and responsible use of High Performance Computing (HPC).

You are invited to attend our first FREE hybrid workshop on Thursday, February 12th, 2026 between 09:00 - 13:45 (EET) / 07:00-11:45 (GMT) exploring how Tallinn University can develop responsible digitalisation by working with SSHA researchers, and learning from, the University of Strathclyde.

We will explore:

  • How can SSHA researchers publish their research data using Open Science and ORRI methods?
  • When are laptops inappropriate for large-scale data analysis and AI experiments?
  • When should one consider using HPC for large-scale data analysis and experiments in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence?
  • What services need to be developed at Tallinn University for ORRI?
