Introduction
Õnne Uus has a master's degree in psychology and a doctorate in educational sciences. She works as a lecturer in educational psychology at the Institute of Educational Sciences. She has been a clinical psychologist for a long time in collaboration with the Tartu University Hospital (Center for Genetics and Rare Diseases) and in Tallinn Children's Hospital. She is also a family psychotherapist (including work with children with disabilities and their parents). Õnne´s passion is educational psychology, i.e. how the human brain develops and matures, and enables learning. Also, what role executive functions play and how important other people are in meaningful learning. Õnne researches and teaches how family, teacher, peers and students themselves can help the learning process and knowledge gain. She knows that learning is awesome - a life-changing experience. Õnne Uusi's strength as an educational psychologist is sharing evidence-based knowledge of online capabilities of the human brain.
