Õnne Uus

Õnne Uus (master’s degree in psychology and doctorate in educational sciences) works as a lecturer in educational psychology.
She has long experience as a clinical psychologist: co-work with the Tartu University Hospital (Centre of Clinical Genetics and Rare Diseases) and the Tallinn Children’s Hospital.
Also as a family psychotherapist, including with children with disabilities and individual differences, and their parents.
Õnne's interest is: cognitive/mental development and maturation, and the conditions necessary to learning.
Her focus: executive functions and the learning environment in meaningful learning.
Õnne researches and teaches how families, teachers, peers, and students themselves can influence the processes within the learner's mind and memory.
She knows that learning is an exciting, life-changing experience.
Her strength: sharing evidence-based knowledge on the human brain's and mental capacity for learning, so that learned knowledge can be continuously expanded.
