„Loo ja uuri!“ (Create and research!) course for general school pupils

The course was directed to general school pupils to support basic school creative works and highschool pupils research works development.

Within the project a beta version web-textbook was created that is under refinement

The course took place in a hybrid e-learning and physical meetings format in Estonian Arts Academy and Tallinn University. The meetings took place at 19.02, 05.03, 26.03 and 09.04.2022  alternatingly in BFM and EKA. The youngsters were involved in thinking about relations between research and creation processes, became familiar with visual, sound and movement-based creativity enhancing methods, formulated their authors' position as well as learned about thesis structures and formatting basics. They also participated in several practical art workshops in EKA, discussed and presented their creative research topics and work in progress.  

On 12.04.2022 Gerhard Lock represented the project team presenting the activities and experiences of „Loo ja uuri!“ within the Eesti Teadusagentuuri (ETAg, Estonian Research Council) organised TeaMe+ and miks?.ee pupils' research festival „Koolide uurimis- ja loovtööde koordinaatorite koostöövõrgustiku seminaril“ (schools' research and creation coordinator's seminar) in Tartu, ERM (Eesti Rahvamuuseum) library. The team members also participated before as evaluators of the pupils' state research work contest. Anneli Porri was member of the jury.

„Loo ja uuri!“ is a joint course created within Tallinna Teadus- ja Loomekooli (TTL, Tallinn Research and Creativity School) supported by HTM (Estonian Ministry of Research and Education) by Estonian Arts Academy (EKA) and Tallinn University (TLU) Baltic Film, Media and Arts School (BFM) staff members: Anneli Porri (project leader), Britta Benno, Kaja Toomla (web design) from EKA; Helen Arov, Jane Remm, Gerhard Lock from BFM.
