Tutvustus
I am an international relations scholar who has published widely on topics related to relational theory, political methodology, migration, and the governance of global crises. In also explore questions around human and non-human security, decolonisation, the Anthropocene, and peace governance. Beyond that, I stay up-to-date with German and European foreign policy, and I am currently deeply invested in learning about the Eastern Mediterranean.
Currently, I am writing a paper with Birgit Poopuu that illuminates the links between the imperial violence in the Wars in Ukraine and Gaza. Furthermore, I am working on a new idea that frames peace as a wicked problem, deeply embedded in various structural violences, that requires our daily attention.
If you catch me in the hallway, I love to talk (and play) basketball, music and pedalboards. When I am not spending time with my family, I am trying to build the most massive bass tone in my band, TV Motel.
