Xin Tang

Xin Tang is a Professor at Tallinn University. His research aims to understand and facilitate positive growth of youth in learning and social-emotional development. Thus, his research topics include motivation and engagement, academic well-being, social-emotional development, and teaching practices.

So far, he has more than 80 peer-reviewed publications, and his works have appeared in leading journals, such as Educational Psychology Review, Learning and Instruction, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Learning and Individual Differences, Teaching and Teacher Education.

Currently, he is the Chief-Editor of a new Elsevier journal: Applied Studies in Innovative Learning and Teaching and the Associate Editor for the Applied Psychology: Health and Wellbeing, and is editorial board member for leading journals such as Learning and Instruction (SSCI-Q1), Journal of Youth and Adolescence (SSCI-Q1), Learning and Individual Differences (SSCI-Q1), Educational Psychology (SSCI-Q1).
