High5 project's final conference about Integrated Design will take place in Tallinn University on 29th of August.
*Integrated Design (ID) is a novel method for problem solving that combines methods like design thinking, problem based learning, sustainability, circular economy, innovational thinking and entrepreneurship.

ID is a mindset that allows future designers to solve real problems of real people, create innovative solutions and take care of sustainability, our environment and the well-being of future generations. ID encourages to find even simple ideas to existing challenges but always in consideration of sustainable development goals.

Integrated Design is a process that consists of several steps: Discover, Define, Ideate, Implement. While designing, it is necessary to iterate steps and refine the solution. The Implementation step includes prototyping of the solution and testing it with potential users. Results of the ID process are created to match human’s needs.

Using Sustainable Development Goals in teaching (in Estonian language)

Workshop focuses on using the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and set of SDG cards in innovating everyday teaching. SDG cards are a good tool in every stage of integrated design and design thinking methodologies.
Brainstorming techniques MIXER

Brainstorming is commonly treated as an universal key to all the locks but it is NOT TRUE. Brainstorming is rather a set of picklocks that should be wisely selected for the given purpose. That worksop will be an occasion to get acquainted with some ways of generating and evaluating ideas that might be useful not only during Ideation but in general as ways of channeling free flow of creativity.

Circular Economy

Some industry examples and case studies of circular economy are presented. The relationship between Circular Economy and Social Innovation are considered.
