Associate Professor and Researcher of Interaction Design at Tallinn University’s School of Digital Technology. Sónia received her PhD (2006) at Sheffield Hallam University, UK. Meanwhile, concluded her two post-doc projects. Since 2003 she has been focusing on exploring the role of Trust in technologically enhanced contexts. Currently, Sónia actively researches, teach and supervises at Tallinn University. She teaches topics like User experience evaluation, Trust in Computing and Human-centred computing. Her research duties focus mainly on her Trust model in Human-computer Interaction. Since 2015, she also co-supervises and supervises doctoral projects on Human-Computer Interaction and since 2005, successfully mentors Master thesis projects.
