Super-diversity in Erasmus+: TU Communication Management Students at Anglia Ruskin, Cambridge

Eurocampus 2015 at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, part I

Tallinn University Baltic Film, Media, Arts and Communication School takes part in the teaching and research network EMICC (European Master in Intercultural Communication). The core of EMICC is the yearly EUROCAMPUS, a four month intensive programme taught by professors from the network universities, in which up to five students from each partner university can take part.

In autumn 2015 three master students studying on Communication Management MA programme (with emphasis on the Intercultural Communication field) receive Erasmus+ student exchange experience at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge (Great Britain). These are first master students who represent Tallinn University in the network and definitely it would be instructive to hear about their first experiences and impressions. What makes this group of students especially interesting is their mixed identity: originally they come from Nigeria and Cameroon, being master level students at Tallinn University in Estonia, they applied for the European Union student exchange programme and were selected to spend a semester at Cambridge, Great Britain. Such forms of super-diversity and complexity exemplify well that as innovative and academically enriching, Tallinn University is acknowledged both locally and internationally for its role as a centre for science and education. You are welcome to read the experiences of our three Master's students, Temiloluwa Paul Adetola, Melvis Fozoung Alemazung and Folakemi Blessing Awoyo by clicking on their names!
